More teams are still queuing up for the signature of Africa Cup of
Nations hero Sunday Mba despite the lingering tussle over the player’s
ownership, futaa.com has reliably gathered.
Media Officer of
Warri Wolves Moses Etu in a chat with futaa.com in Warri revealed that
an MLS team last week joined the soaring list of suitors for the
midfielder as they put a call through to inquire about the services of
the midfielder.
“We have not less than 15 clubs that have been
calling to ask about Mba, the last of them only called last week from
America (MLS)and we promptly directed them to the person we have put in
charge; that is Emmanuel Ibru who is a FIFA-licensed agent .
Etu went further to state that out of the 15 interested clubs, three have shown ‘more serious’ interest to sign Mba.
“It
is one thing to show interest, it is another to be very serious, right
now three clubs are very serious to get Mba; one from Germany, the other
from Ukraine and last id from Turkey,” the Wolves media officer said.
A
one million Euros price tag has been placed on Mba whose two goals in
South Africa played a key role in the Super Eagles triumph at the Afcon.
