An Indonesian maid, Satinah Binti Jumadi Ahmad, who was found
guilty of killing her employer’s wife and stealing 37,970 riyal (£5640,
$10,125) in 2007, has escaped being beheaded, according to a report.
Satinah, 41, would now be let go after the Indonesian government has agreed to pay £1.1million ($2.1m) to the victim’s family.
It was gathered that the accused has been on death row in a Saudi
