World cup qualifier: Cameroon arrive Uyo for Eagles

Members of the Cameroonian senior national football team, the Indomitable Lions have arrived Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital for the crucial World Cup Qualifying tie with the Super Eagles.
The Lions arrived Uyo at 12 noon today and were immediately escorted to their hotel, Davok Suites in Ewet Housing Estate.
Speaking with the media officer, Vincent De Paul Atangana, he confirmed that the team came in with 23 fit players to execute the match and are optimistic ahead of the encounter.
Cameroon will conduct a press conference at the Nest of Champions by 4.15pm today ahead of their training session.
After two rounds of matches in Group B of the World Cup qualifiers, Nigeria lead the way with six points ahead of the African champions, who have two points.
