Court of Appeal judge Constance Byamugisha is dead. She succumbed to breast cancer at Case Clinic on Buganda Road this morning. Justice Byamugisha is a sister to the late First Deputy Prime Minister and East African Affairs Minister Eriya Kategaya and wife to veteran city advocate Dr. Joseph Byamugisha. Kategaya died early this month.
Principal Judge Yorokamu Bamwine and close family
members confirmed the demise of Justice Byamugisha. The body is still
at Case Clinic.
Justice Byamugisha was the acting Deputy Chief Justice at the time of her death.
